    Description

1965 Buick Skylark. I had bought this about 3 yrs ago but never got to the project and have not done one thing to it other then start it up every couple months and move it around. It was kept in a carport and gas was treated. I drove it home, approx. 12 miles, and the car handled great, not loose, steering was good, did not pull etc... Should not have driven it really due to it only had 3 lug nuts on some wheels and did not check brakes. Brakes totally went out when moving it in my driveway, there are zero brakes and no emergency brakes. The motor is a 300 and sounds good and also comes with a 401 Nailhead motor on an engine stand which is a sought after hot rod motor that came as option for this car/other 60's Buicks, trans all seemed good but does not go into a gate/into a notch when in gear, on the column. It goes in all gears and all gears work with no slippage, seem strong.
    The car comes with:
A spare motor that came from running car, 401 Nailhead on engine stand(stand included)
An old 4 barrel intake manifold for the 300, 1 year only (65). Running 300 currently has 2 barrel
    2 carbs
401 Nail head  engine aside from the 300 in the car
Brand new wheel studs for all 4 wheels
New front shocks and new lower front shock mounts, needed. rear shocks look new
2 brand new manuals for motor/mechanical and body
    Old spare front bumper
    Spare good hood
All kinds of extra trim, front bezels etc...
    Air cleaner housing
The guy I bought it from had his priorities mixed up and installed a cheap under car lighting deal which is a piece of s***. He has 50 cable ties on frame for lighting wire etc...   He painted car flat black and painted all trim thats on car , gloss black. (a lot of original not painted trim in trunk). he did a terrible job, paint has pine needles and runs etc.... he tried painting dash area, no over spray but glove box area has runs. He painted door panel which actually arent to bad looking. wireing under dash is a birds nest but car starts up and it was driven home, handled very good. wiring needed for lights etc etc...  Exhaust pipe is not fitting good into muffler (glass pack or?). He just cobbled that connection. I wanted to do all of this but had to many projects to even start on this. It needs tlc and can be a good hot rod or rat rod etc...
When I went to look at car, carpet was out as well as seats. I knocked all over floor and it all seemed solid. truck all seemed solid. not rusted out under rear window or windshield. Frame seems solid. Car doesn't appear to be a rust bucket. saw minor bubbling on rear fender area, very small. body work is not done where trim was removed. Hood scoop was poorly installed with rivets that are not lined up nice. A few dings in body but a definite worthwhile project. The wheels were aluminum and he painted them black which seems to come right off. trim can also be brought back. Needs new battery but can start it for you with jump mode on charger.
Clean title in my name, numbers match title and was told the 300 was original motor with 80000 +/-. It may be true due to it is not a rust bucket. Odometer says 80000 +/-.  0. down payment due within 24 hrs of auctions end with paypal or talk to seller for exceptions. Balance due in person or talk to seller for details.
